M.A. in English Literature and Ph.D. in Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature, Cai Xiaorong is Professor of English at School of Foreign Languages and Literature, Wuhan University. She was a research scholar at Department of Asia and Middle East, Duke University (Oct 2015 – Oct 2016). Her research focuses on Chinese literature, English literature and Sinology. She is the Project leader of “An Artistic Review on Geling Yan’s Literary Works, from the Perspectives of Painting, Music and Dance” (Grant No. 11CZW064), a Project supported by National Fund of Philosophy and Social Science of China, 2011-2016, and some other projects. She is also a writer in Chinese and has published a series of stylistic essays and novels.
